Matthew Holdren has been building modern heirlooms and spaces with materials steeped in New Orleans history for the past nine years. In this time, he has grown his backyard furniture workshop into a design business that creates transformative custom interiors for clients’ homes, brand-defining spaces for local restaurants and businesses, and hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind furniture for everyday life. He has been honored to work collaboratively with local artists and to show at the annual New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. All or most of his creations are built from Louisiana sinker cypress or from reclaimed material he personally salvages from New Orleans homes, and it is an integral part of his work to showcase their beauty.

Marty McElveen is the founder of MOSA Design + Fabrication, a multidisciplinary design studio focused on the advancement of digital craft and technology in the making of objects, space, and architecture. He received a Masters of Architecture degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2007. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Daimler Chrysler Emerging Artist Fellowship, an annual award given in recognition of innovative work by the top graduate of the Academy. His work has been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums, including Art Forum Berlin, Cranbrook Art Museum, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit. In addition to his design practice, he is an Adjunct Professor of Architecture at Tulane University in New Orleans and Parsons School of Design in New York.
